Kasia Avery - The Host
Capturing the moment and sensations is everything to me - my language is art. I paint, collage and art journal to figure out my past, my present and future. I scribble, spill, tear, paint and write to let the emotions out. I ask questions and work out my answers through colour, texture, patterns and dynamic connections between contradictions. My work is a perfect reflection of my everyday reality - the colours and subjects reveal the connections that I make between my past and now.
I have taught mixed-media in-person and online since 2011 and everyday I'm grateful for this opportunity to have my dream job. I run Everything Art Ltd together with my husband Jamie.

Alison Bomber
With a career in theatre, and now as a mixed media and watercolour artist and designer, I have two creative lives and loves - words and pictures. They interact and intertwine in my artwork - sometimes I am led by colour or texture or imagery; sometimes by a thought or quote or poem.
Nature is at the heart of my creative journey - the colours of the seasons, the shape of a leaf or seedhead, the light at different times of year - and moving to the Czech countryside means it is now at the heart of my daily life too.
I design stamps for PaperArtsy, and those are filled with my botanical sketches, with theatrical, historical and personal ephemera, and with quotes and poetry fragments. All these things feed my creative soul, and I love to share that joy through workshops and tutorials online and in person.

Jane Chipp
I am a textile, collage, assemblage and book artist. I work mainly with found objects, nature, old papers and photographs. I’m never happier than when I’m wandering around a flea market, beach or forest, finding items to use in my art. I work from my garden studio near Plymouth, UK.

Jeanne Oliver
I grew up in rural Illinois and now reside in Castle Rock, CO. I am inspired by our personal stories, travel, and nature. I use art to tell my current stories and also those of growing up among gravel roads, cornfields and early life surrounded by open spaces. Through mark making, layers and mixed media, I hope to convey that we all have a story to tell.
I speak and teach all around the country and abroad. I was told that I needed to find that one thing but I don't like listening to directions so I embrace many loves and that has given me a sweet mash-up of family, art, and travel. Connecting with women and sharing that each of us has been creatively made is one of my passions.
I am also a best selling author, creator of the online art school jeanneoliver.com with over 70,000 members from around the world, creator of the Creatively Made Business curriculum, and podcaster.

Theresa P-Tan
Hi, I’m Theresa P-Tan, an Ecuadorean/Puerto Rican mixed media artist from Brooklyn, NY. With a Master’s in Education, I began my career as a NYC public school teacher before transitioning to a full-time artist when I moved to Durham, NC, in 2016. My artwork and art journals are deeply influenced by my love of teaching & learning, the energy of my urban upbringing, and the beauty of nature I encounter in my daily life and travel.
Curiosity and experimentation fuel my creative process. Working with acrylics, collage, and layered marks from pencils, pastels, and other mediums, I enjoy building rich textures that evoke depth and emotion. Each mark is a question—a “what if?”—guiding me through an intuitive dance of instinct and reflection until the piece settles into a place of balance and resolution.

Kim Dellow
Being curious and creative is key to my process. In my work I like to experiment and being playful is important to me. Currently, I love to explore complex layering to develop visually textured pieces and I am fascinated by the telling of stories through mark making and colour. My favourite forms of expression are sketching, painting, collage and a combination of all three. I will often use a number of different subject matter, tools and techniques, but wildlife and coloured pencils are things I go back to again and again.
I am a strong believer in the importance of being creative in our lives. So, when I teach, I try to give you the tools to help you to connect with your creative self and explore your own ways to express through marks, colour and play.

Laura Dame
Hello, my name is Laura, and I am a mixed media artist based in Austin, TX. I love to play and experiment in my art journals, and also enjoy dabbling in abstract, collage, and floral artworks. My favorite thing about art is that there are no rules - the only requirement is that whatever you create makes you happy! Your art doesn't have to be perfect, or even 'good' - it's the act of creating that matters.
I am married to a wonderful husband, who is the person who first nudged me down my artistic path about 10 years ago (although he probably didn't realize how much money I would spend on art supplies!). I am also the mother to two teenage boys, and a full-time Sonographer.

Dan Donovan
From the day we’re born we all have an instinct for creativity. Just put a blank piece of paper in front of any toddler with some coloured pens to realise this. Somewhere along the way we get ‘educated’ and most lose the belief and importance of creative expression and play.
My passion is engaging with people, encouraging them and seeing them excited and inspired by expressive art.
Alongside ‘The Art Station’, a public pop up art project I founded I work with many different groups and organisations as a facilitator, practicing artist, commissioned graphic designer, filmmaker, photographer and musician.
In recent years my own journey in art has seen me move away from figurative work and more and more into freeform painting, this has been enlightening and exciting to discover more about my inner self.
I believe everyone has that inner artist and I love to see others fulfil this.

Nadyia Duff
I’m Nadyia Duff, a multidisciplinary artist driven by curiosity, emotion, and a love for storytelling through visual form. My work often weaves together mixed media, personal symbols, and layered textures to reflect themes of identity, memory, and transformation. I see art as a way to process the world—both the quiet moments and the big shifts—and to translate feeling into form.
While I also teach art, my personal practice is where I reconnect with myself. It’s where I explore freely, take creative risks, and let intuition guide me. I’m drawn to materials that carry meaning and enjoy turning the ordinary into something expressive and unexpected.
Art, for me, is more than a discipline—it’s a space to be honest, imaginative, and fully present.
