Apply to teach on

Wanderlust.

Wanderlust is our best-selling year-long course in mixed-media art journaling.

It's a mouthful for sure, but also a brilliant learning experience for thousands of people all over the world. Wanderlust has been running since 2015 and it is known as one of the best quality mixed-media courses online.

Every year we work with around 30 Teachers who share their video lessons with our students (we call them Adventurers!).

We collaborate with some of the most renowned and loved teachers in the industry, while also giving an opportunity to those who are crazy talented, but have a smaller following.

There's space for everyone on Wanderlust and our course can be a spring-board to a life changing career.

We provide our Teachers with full support, encouragement and help as well as educational materials and easy access to all the knowledge and content which they need to promote the course, create their lessons and participate in the community.

We even offer video chats with Kasia herself to help brainstorm ideas for lessons, answer questions and share tips on teaching, filming, equipment, learning, sharing and more.

Wanderlust Teachers receive a generous one-off payment for the provision of their agreed content, a percentage from every sale they make through their affiliate link and bonus payments such as Paint Perk and Creator Fund.

We also offer additional paid collaborative opportunities such as creating extra content, participating in live events and other offerings.

⠀⠀⠀ Apply if you:

  • Do mixed-media and/or art journaling and have a distinctive unique style that you’ve developed yourself.
  • Are happy to share your signature techniques with our Adventurers.
  • Can film and do basic editing (or have someone who can do it for you).
  • Are comfortable in front of a camera.
  • Are happy to promote the course that you are involved in on your social media and newsletters.⠀⠀⠀
  • Feel an urge to share your love of art making with others.

Q&A to read before you apply:⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Q:
Do I need a big following to apply?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A:
Not at all. We value an engaged audience far more than big numbers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Q:
Do I have to be experienced at filming? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A:
You have to know how to do it and must be able to do some basic editing. If you need help we provide lots of tips and advice for our Teachers.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Q:
I've never taught before. Can I apply?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A:
Yes, if you can tick all the boxes above. You just need to know your supplies and be experienced at what you want to teach.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Q:
I've already been a Teacher on Wanderlust and want to teach again. Do I apply through the form or should I send you an email?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A:
Please apply through the form - simply put your name & email address in and you can skip all the other questions.

Q: I applied last year. Do I still need to apply again for you to consider me for next year?

A: Yes! We remove old applications once the team for that year is complete. Please apply again. Just because you didn't succed in previous years doesn't mean "it's not meant to be". We look for different people, styles, techniques and approaches every year, so who knows, you may be perfect for the next Wanderlust.

Applications to teach on Wanderlust 2026 close on the

30th of November 2024.

How does it work?

We go through all Wanderlust Teaching applications once a year, between November and December. Our team reads every single word.

We choose several of the best applications and then see how each applicant could fit in with the structure, themes and subjects of the next years course. This is the hardest bit, because sometimes the application is awesome, but the supplies which make up that particular applicant's unique style just aren't featured on our course. In this case we may contact the applicant with a different opportunity.

We then contact all the applicants that we'd like to work with on Wanderlust around mid January, early February.

If you're the lucky one you'll receive our official invite which contains all that we offer and all that we'd expect from you.

If you accept the offer, then we sign a contract and invite you to access our Teachers Welcome Pack, give you all the support you need and help you in the process of creating your Wanderlust lesson.

If you don't hear from us by mid March chances are the teachers team is complete and unfortunately you didn't succeed this time.

If you'd like to know why, please ask for feedback via [email protected] and we will answer all of your questions.

Apply with your course idea!

We also work with mixed-media artists who create stand-alone offerings or offerings for our Everything Art platform. These are published as courses or YouTube series.

Have you got an exciting and unique idea for a course? Or maybe you're super skilled at your art or craft and look for a platform to share it with the world?
