A taste of what you'll create
48 lessons across mixed media, collage, painting, sculpture, assemblage, and beyond — projects that go far beyond the journal page.
What is Wanderlust 2026?
Wanderlust 2026 goes beyond the art journal. This edition takes your creativity off the page and into three dimensions: you'll work on canvases, create sculptures, build assemblages, make paper bunting, and craft mixed-media objects — all alongside the art journaling techniques you love.
The course unfolds across four themed seasons, with new lessons released weekly so you can create alongside a global community. Each season culminates in a livestream hosted by Kasia Avery — a chance to connect, celebrate, and share what you've made.
This is art as adventure. This is creativity without limits. This is Wanderlust.
Four seasons, one extraordinary adventure
Wanderlust 2026 unfolds across four themed seasons, each exploring a different creative territory — with a global community creating alongside you every step of the way.
Roots and Wings
Ground yourself in bold foundations and then take flight. Build confidence with mixed-media techniques that give you both stability and freedom to explore.
Paper Alchemy
Transform humble paper into something extraordinary. Collage, layering, bookmaking, and paper manipulation that turns everyday materials into art.
Stories Unfolded
Tell your stories through art. Narrative techniques, visual storytelling, and projects that capture memories and dreams across multiple surfaces.
The Elements Within
Dig deep and create from your core. Expressive, intuitive, and boundary-pushing projects that connect your inner world with bold outer expression.
Every lesson centres on one Hero Technique
Each of the 48 lessons is built around a single Hero Technique — one core skill or approach that becomes the heart of your project. This means you're never overwhelmed. You focus on one idea at a time, explore it fully, and then carry it forward into your growing practice.
From intuitive painting and collage layering to sculpture, assemblage, and mixed-media storytelling, every Hero Technique is something you can return to again and again — long after the lesson is over. And because the projects go beyond journals, you'll build techniques that work across canvases, objects, and paper art.

“Wanderlust has made me so love working in the art journal. Learning so many different things from so many different artists is truly, truly amazing. This is such a good value for the money that I will be doing this every year from now on till the day that I die!”
“Wanderlust has become a vital virtual safe space for my art and creative practice. Kasia feels like a creative and talented friend who introduces us to her other creative and talented friends!”
“Not only has Wanderlust improved my art practice, it also improves my mental health. It’s therapy for me as I suffer from anxiety. I’ve been a Wanderluster since the beginning and I have to say it has helped me through some very difficult times. I’ve learnt lots of new skills over the years!”
Kasia Avery
Wanderlust is led by its founder — Kasia Avery. A mixed-media artist, teacher, and the creator of Everything Art, Kasia has been building and hosting Wanderlust for over ten years, guiding thousands of students through their creative journeys.
Before Everything Art moved online, Kasia spent years teaching in person — running workshops, retreats, and creative gatherings where she learned first-hand what helps people find confidence in their art. That hands-on experience shapes every part of Wanderlust, from the way lessons are structured to the warmth and encouragement woven through each season.
As your host, Kasia guides you through all four seasons — introducing each teacher, setting the creative tone for every chapter, and hosting a livestream at the end of each season where the community comes together to celebrate and share.
