Supply lists
Welcome to the supply lists for all of the classes included in this bundle.
Please use the supply lists as a guide - if you don't have some of the products then you can use it as an excuse to experiment and find substitutes within your stash, rather than running to the craft store or allowing it to make you feel as if you cannot participate with a technique.
Remember: art is all about experimentation, there's no right or wrong, and we wholeheartedly encourage you to use what you already have!
Disclaimer: these supply lists are not sponsored. Some of the links above are affiliate links.
If you'd like to print out the supply lists, please find a pdf version at the bottom of this page :)

Blue Hair with Lynne Furrer
- Watercolour paper in white either as a separate piece of paper or in your sketchbook. I'm using 140lb watercolour paper.
- Black stabilo pencil
- 2B pencil and eraser. The pencil used doesn't matter so much as the pressure you apply to the paper. Keep a LIGHT touch!
- Bucket for clean water
- My watercolour pigments are Yellow Ochre and Cobalt Blue made by Holbein. You can make Yellow Ochre by adding a teensie bit of dark brown to your medium yellow. Don't like my colors? No problem. Try a turquoise or purple that you love to replace the blue. If you go turquoise, change your medium yellow by adding a teensie bit of pink to shift the color slightly toward orange. If you go with purple, use medium yellow with no other mixture.
- Tissue and paper towel
- 3 watercolor brushes in large, medium and small. Every brush manufacturer is different, but mine are 14, 8 and 4. You can certainly do this whole lesson with just 1 medium sized brush, so no need to buy anything new.
- Pigment holders such as paper plates, old china dishes or a watercolour palette
- I don't recommend a hairdryer as it can change the saturation of pigments. Try to let your art dry naturally if you can.
